Digipro and ex-FUNecole® student scores Highest Mark in Cyprus for Cambridge International examinations A’ Level Computing 2012 Exams

We proudly congratulate our student, Zinonas Gianni, on his outstanding achievement in Cambridge International GCE A’ Level Computing exams. Zinonas was awarded the Top mark in Cyprus for the examinations in June 2012. This achievement demonstrates the high quality of both the learner’s and his school’s work and reflects the enormous talent, hard work, commitment and dedication. A remarkable fact about his achievement is that Zinonas competed in the age of 16 where the major part of candidates for this qualification ranges from ages 17 to 19.

As Zinonas quotes, a major factor for his success was his early involvement in ICT skills, through the FUNecole® programme, that enabled him to build a solid ICT background and led a high achieving path to IGCSE and later on A Level qualifications of computing subjects. He also highlighted the importance of the proper and professional guidance of Digipro’s training team.
The prize is going to be presented at the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony to held in Nicosia in March 2013.
Zinonas was awarded last year in a similar ceremony for his outstanding grade in AS Computing held in Nicosia, Cyprus at December 2nd 2011. A series of high achievers pupils in various Cambridge subjects were congratulated by H.E Matthew Kidd, British High Commissioner in Cyprus and Dr John Guy, Senior Education Advisor, University of Cambridge International Examinations.
